Rivendell Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas has offered emergency care for children and adolescents, ages 4 to 17, experiencing acute psychiatric and behavioral health issues for over 30 years. Today, we continue to help children through evaluation, stabilization, detox and substance abuse recovery. We use a mix of therapy modalities and education tools to help young patients suffering from emotional or mental health issues, such as anxiety, anger, trauma, grief, addiction, and impulsivity. Education is also a cornerstone of our programming, informing these young patients and their families about the risks and potential complications of behavioral and emotional disorders and giving them the toolset to improve their mental health and quality of life continually.

We also help our young patients continue their academic education in a classroom specifically designed for youth with behavioral and emotional issues. Our teachers are Special Education Certified and follow the Bryant Public Schools calendar, maintaining records for each student and keeping contact with the schools so the child can re-enter without delay once their treatment is complete.

Rivendell’s clinical team is comprised of counselors, doctors and mental health associates who will guide each patient toward a plan for success and wellness. Our staff develops a unique treatment plan based on each patient’s specific needs. Programs for children and teens include:
