Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program in Benton, AR

The road to recovery is long, but you don’t have to make the journey alone. At Rivendell Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas, we offer several programs dedicated to helping patients struggling with psychiatric and addiction problems —including effective outpatient options.

We developed our intensive outpatient treatment program in Benton, AR, to meet the local need for more adult mental health and substance abuse services. Our IOP program serves patients, age 18 and older. It can function as a “step down” program for those coming from acute inpatient programs who need support transitioning back into their homes lives. However, the patient does not necessarily have to have undergone an inpatient program first.

Besides, our IOP program offers a more intensive, supportive treatment environment than a traditional outpatient program.

Program Features

The goal of our outpatient rehab services is to help patients practice coping skills in a controlled, growth-oriented environment. Furthermore, they’ll be supported by our professional treatment team and other patients who are also on the road to recovery. Fellowship with others in similar situations can be a powerful healing force, which is why we emphasize group therapy alongside individual counseling services.

Thanks to our convenient hours, IOP patients can continue their daily routines and continue treatments with their original mental health provider (MHP), while working with our team of specialists as well. If patients don’t currently have an MHP, Rivendell’s staff can help make a referral for continued care and wellness. IOP hours are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday through Friday, with snacks provided. Local transportation to Rivendell is available as necessary but must be arranged with the facility.

While treatment varies for each patient, most patients seek support from the program for two to three months to solidify the skills and principles they’ve learned. Talk to our team to learn more about our intensive outpatient treatment program and what you can expect.
