The Referral Process

Rivendell Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas (RBHSAR) works with children, adolescents, adults and older adults. Services are available for individuals ages 4 and older who can cognitively participate in programming and engage in activities of daily living (ADLs) without assistance.

We value the trusted relationships we build with families, referral partners and professionals involved in each patient’s care journey. We collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, psychologists, counselors, physicians, schools, social service departments and community partners seeking specialized behavioral health treatment options for those they serve.

Supporting each patient’s progress requires partnership, communication and coordinated care among everyone involved. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering high quality care focused on stabilization, healing and improved outcomes.

Assessment and Referrals

We accept referrals to RBHSAR from anyone including parents, family members, professionals, schools, child welfare agencies and other organizations both in-state and out-of-state. Our Assessment and Referral team helps connect individuals with the level of behavioral health care that best meets their needs.

We have a team of assessors who work at the facility and a team of assessors who work in the field. Assessments can be conducted 24/7/365 in person, by phone or virtually. The Assessment and Referral department is open 24 hours per day, seven days a week and during holidays.

Mobile Assessments

RBHSAR offers mobile assessments when appropriate. We have a team of assessors who cover the entire state providing services. Our licensed clinical professionals are experienced in evaluating the behavioral health needs of children, adolescents and adults. Mobile assessments provide a convenient option for completing evaluations in community-based settings to help determine appropriate treatment recommendations.
