Addiction Recovery for Adults

Rivendell Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas offers a voluntary inpatient treatment program for substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders. The program focuses on continued recovery from detox and withdrawal symptoms and on the development of resiliency skills for relapse prevention. The length of stay typically ranges from a week or two to 28 days depending on the needs of the individual.

Admissions to First Step: Potential patients may be admitted upon discharge from acute detox or acute inpatient care as well as by direct transfer from another hospital or program. Clients referred from an outpatient provider may be admitted to our substance use treatment center if medically stable and deemed appropriate by the treatment team.

Alcoholics Anonymous®/Narcotics Anonymous®: These community-led groups are held on-site and virtually for adults in our care and are strictly voluntary.

Discharge Planning: Each patient leaves our care with a personalized crisis safety plan that identifies resources for aftercare. Our counselors and therapists work with the recovery community to assist patients in accessing support upon discharge.
